No need to buy shawarma when you can make it yourself.
Follow this easy recipe to a path of deliciousness.
Ingredients:
Flour wrap
Cabbage
Carrot
Green beans, chopped (optional)
Boneless chicken, chopped
Seasoning
Salt
Chili powder
Black pepper
Ginger
Suya spice
Mayonnaise (1/2 cup)
Lemon or lime juice (1-2 tbsps)
Procedure :
Marinate the chicken for some minutes in seasoning, salt, ginger, black pepper, chilli powder and suya spice.
Combine the mayonnaise with lemon or lime juice.
Pour some of the mayo mixture into the cabbage, carrot and green beans. Mix all together.
After marinating the chicken, place on a greased grill pan and allow each side for 3-4 minutes.
Spread the remaining mayo mix on the flour wrap.
Place the chicken chunks and cabbage mix and then fold up the flour wrap.
Place on a grill pan and allow each side for a few minutes.
Your shawarma is ready!!!
